Hello,

I made a little app who connects to port 21000 on a irtrans server. Which works great for the ir commands.

But i have no idea what i should sent to the irtrans server to display info on the vfd.

Anyone any idea what the commands are for displaying text on a vfd connected to the irtrans server ?

There are no ASCII Commands for the display available. As we do not have any OEM agreements with display makers there will be no further development of that part of the SW.

Altho its a dissapointing one, i use the origenae vfd 110. I know it works as mediaportal can use it. Irtrans in debug mode shows the lcd commands.

So is there any dirty hack or a workaround to get it to work ?.

I am a developper so it doesn't have to be easy, i am hoping u get me a bit started before i go the dirty way and try to capture the communication.

We do not have any documentation for that interface. As it has been written around 8 years ago the memories also started fading ..
